i thought it only applied to government workers?
i havent been keeping up with all this stuff though, does it apply to everyone now?

maybe i fucked up something, but read about the restrict bill HERE

https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/senate-bill/686/text?s=1&r=15

just skimming through it they never listed regular citizens as being affected
i think it still only applies to government workers, the families of government workers, and corporations
im still gonna keep an eye out

I mean something else would obviously replace Tik Tok if Tik Tok were to get banned. To mention, I hate the People's Republic of China (not the people, the country and government) so I am in some level of support banning this app/website or whatever.

it isnt even a ban on tiktok directly

it was just an example they showed

they literally just played like 5 or 6 stupid fucking memes "from" tiktok in the congress room
I know right, I wish there was younger politicians because we are currently in that era of politicians that barely no shit about anything cyber law. At the same time we would be fucked because of younger politicians. But seriously they need younger people in their administrations to explain some shit to them before they embarrassingly going up to someone who works for Tik Tok without obviously doing their research. UGH IT WAS SO CRINGE BRUH

Eh, I guess that's what happens when humanity evolves itself too fast through the past 2 centuries. We gotta remember the computer, internet, phones with touch screens are sort of a new invention if you see it that way, with wifi being invented right before the beginning of the 21st century. Of course these older folks born before that time are going to know nothing about it unlike us who grew up with this shit.

also if you wonder why i said "through the past 2 centure" it's because in my opinion during the 19th century that's when humanity really kicked off in innovation at a fast rate.
