2022 In Review
A lot has happened since the last time capsule was made. Let's start in the beginning of 2022. Things started off pretty well. Some great events happened in late 2021 and hype for the egg hunt was very high. When it was time for the egg hunt to begin a few former staff members made a document exposing the former CEO as being a pedophile. The forums and discord server both shut down to stop the spam that was occurring. This caused many discord servers filled with users to pop up. The document was later proven to be biased and some images were out of context but many users lost trust in the site and left. Others stuck around to see what the future would bring. The future was ok I guess. The egg hunt eventually happened and it was pretty good even though it was late. Dozens of free items and a pretty good game.
The summer on Brick Hill was kind of meh. The normal pointless forum drama happened but nothing major for the site. The Halloween event came out with once again pretty high expectations. The first part of it was ok but the second part was pretty boring. The Christmas event was pretty similar with the only interesting parts being onsite.
Of course we cannot forget the biggest change that happened this year. In late October it was discovered that the former CEO had been arrested. Jefemy and Maxed1 appear to be in control but things but as of writing this things are still uncertain with him recently being released.
Site Updates
Throughout the year a few new site updates came out. The games page updated first which introduced genres and dedicated hosting to the website. Next the shop updated. This gave us a new layout and better sorting system. Lastly the home page updated with a similar layout. It is still unfinished as there is a planned social update.
