Brick-Hill is just too small for UGC. I doubt anyone here even knows how to model.
chrome: laughs in 3D modeler

also there are tons that can model.
not everyone is good but even then there are still some decent people.
I'm pretty good at retexturing hats and even made some things myself. Of course, none of them have been accepted, but still.

Are u dumb or something? We cant even use shirts in game how are we supposed to make Ugc the game doesnt support meshes yet sooo
Are u dumb or something?

1) Shirts are disabled but if you reverse engineer the application, you could probably find out how to re-enable clothes.

2) Meshes work in game. You likely just have that setting turned off. In my game Halloween's Blight I demonstrate the usefulness of meshes in game. You can't have custom meshes, but you can still use hats and tools in game, and if users download a model you make, they can see it in game if you use it there.

how would this shut down brickhill? it's just people making items on store OTHER than just having to make shirts and such
I mean, as a shirt developer myself it gets quite boring using the same template over and over again.
so this will be a change in making items on shop
Users would create items too much.
Of course, the items need to be accepted, but they would still make the staff fed up with the amount of hats they try to upload.
There's also a makeshift schedule and plan for when items are made, but with UGC a user could just upload an item whenever they want which would mess up the schedule.

Not to mention how this would effect the economy. If the rewards go to the owner, they would get tons of bucks and bits which would be bad. The earnings of the hats uploaded currently don't even go to the asset devs that make them.

Users would also probably offsite to get their hats/hat ideas uploaded.

this is overall a bad idea at the moment, unless some balancing can be made.

I agree that it is very boring using the same template over and over again to make clothing, but it still technically depends on the staff. And, thanks for wishing me good luck on modeling.

(bad english warning)

You're making good points here. I have to say, that if I was to make a website with UGC on it, then I would probably do something that the people who made the item can get 50% for the profit they make. And now talking about uploading them, maybe a user can only upload an item once a week or a month. I would probably say that if this was to be added, only certain (selected) people can make the items. And if someone buys the item one makes, then someone should take care of the UGC section of the shop and makes sure that the person who buys the item is not an alt account, may take up to a few days. I know what I just said is kind of like Roblox, but if we're going to have a UGC shop category, I think this might work out well.

Issues:

1) It will encourage the seller to bot their item with alts
2) Most of the items would be bad
3) It just isn’t great
