the only gun we have isnt even a proper gun so combat games/shooters are very limited

if you mean scripted guns, then it's just whenever people make them
it's not up to the staff to make scripted guns

making a new gun is kinda hard to do though, since theres not really any way to do it other than just shooting a brick in the direction the player is facing

I think he is talking about just adding models for guns in the shop, not actually scripted
