Due to slight inactivity from the staff due to events happening in the near future, the majority of posts on the front page of BHH slightly violate the rules, so please familiarise yourself with the following:
◆ Do not spam – This can fall under several categories:
1. Do not trashpost, especially if you’re trying to boost your post count.
2. Do not post several threads about the same thing, even if the threads are made by different people, stick to one thread.
3. If you are banned/ unbanned, do not make a thread about how you are banned/ unbanned because nobody cares.
4. Do not post unrelated posts on other people’s threads, such as asking for donations on a thread asking for help port forwarding.
5. Do not make threads to talk to one person (Examples: “Spacebuilder please accept my trade” or “Spacebuilder check your Discord DMs!”), please use both Discord and the direct message system on this site to send personal messages like these.
6. Do not make topics with ambiguous titles (Examples: “An idea I had” “OMG!” “That feeling when…”). You should be able to guess what the topic is about before reading it (Examples: “I can’t paint bricks purple” “How do I add rising lava to my server?”
◆ Do not post explicit links or images
If it’s not something you would show you grandma, it’s not something you should be showing fellow users.
◆ Do not use excessive profanity
The use of profanity on the site is a privilege which should be used lightly, derogatory language used to degrade or target other users is strictly forbidden. Would you really want to say these things to somebody’s face? It should also not be used in a spammy way like in #1 of the above post.
◆ Be kind to others
This relates back to the previous rule. Time and time again we see cases where users are rude to each other for no reason. Be nice! Racist, sexist and hateful remarks will be removed.
◆ Post in the correct subforum
It helps us to moderate, and helps you to get help, donations or replies faster.
◆ Use the report button
It’s there for a reason, don’t use it to make false reports however.
