To those who will be reading this, you, the Brick Hill users, we would like to put out an important notice regarding the recent prevalence of "clone" websites bearing the likeness of Brick Hill.
This issue has seen significant growth after the period in which Brick Hill's materials, including the site source code, were available to be downloaded via an open-source license. Whilst they were made available originally for those wanting to learn from and reference the materials, some have taken advantage of the situation and used the opportunity to host the source code. Since then, the ability to download any of the available site materials has been deprecated, yet many websites are still currently operating, using the source code in question.
As a platform, we cannot provide credibility to any of these sites bearing the likeness or using the source code that was previously available, since they are being run and controlled by third parties, therefore inhibiting our ability to know the safety of user information to anyone who may want to sign up to such sites. Despite this, we are not discrediting any projects using the materials formerly available, yet we are simply warning users of them, primarily due to the knowledge of some being run and operated by people with malicious intent.
