So I'm running on a chrome book right I install minecraft java for iwndows
It launches and installs perfecto tho whenever I try to play V1.12 of mc it won't install any fixes?

It just gives me error message btw

I have java minecraft too but i have the newer version of it

I play all versions

regular minecraft wont run on a chromebook because it's... well... a chromebook

there is a modified one distributed by mojang called "education edition" which can run on chromebooks.

If you're having trouble with Minecraft I would recommend next time asking on a more Minecraft centered forum site like Planet Minecraft.

But yeah, your main issue is the fact you're using a Chromebook which can't run Minecraft Java.
