Also pretty sure Among Us developers need money to keep the servers up. Back in 2018 the game was only available on mobile and was completely free, however it only had local multiplayer.

you're only playing it because of youtubers etc as it's literally just a direct copy of generic murder games except for the added fact that it has tasks.
1. youtubers make games more known, he probably didnt hear of it because it wasnt popular back then
2. you can say that for almost every game with this type of game genre
then why would someone pay 5 dollars for something they could just get for free playing it on roblox or other things? the game is just a copy that doesn't deserve that much recognition over actual good games that take effort to create
