Admittedly, the criteria for obtaining this hat isn't exactly fair. Many of the owners obtained it simply because I acknowledged they've made / done something great with node-hill.

node-hill likely won't be very popular (or even in use) when the new client releases, meaning the hat would likely be virtually impossible to obtain.

In this thread I'm asking for suggestions of what I can do to make this hat more fair to earn, i.e. perhaps something that has nothing to do with node-hill at all.

you could get it if you get like 20-25 bugs fixed.
after we report 5 and get the bug brick we have nothing else to look forward to.

Possibly could be awarded to people who have been a big help to you in the past/ friends of yours.
