Why are the games empty in players?

Maybe I'm only asking because im used to the roblox platform bustling with players 24/7 .

So when I heard of brickhill via konekokitten's video, I see at least only 14 players on the most popular game. I understand that since brickhill is new and not much people have heard of it.

When joined brickhill, I was expecting the usual 9 to 14 players online per game so I can start and make friends.

unfortunately, I was greeted with a page saying 1 player playing 1 game that didn't even work on my laggy laptop.
Was it because of my timezone? or my location? or my internet provider? I just wanna know because this feels unusual since I saw 14 players online on konekokitten's video.

It primarily has to do with timezones, and the fact that the current client is horribly optimized to play on. Although I did host a game called "Fencing" which accumulated 15 players a few days ago, so it really depends on what's "trending" on the games page.

Also most people (including myself) are waiting until the new client releases because it's going to be genuinely 20x better than the current client, the current client just isn't really enjoyable right now. Nor does it fully showcase Brick-Hills potential.

Yeah I agree with the client being not at it's best right now, maybe if the new client comes brickhill might get more players online

I can guarantee you that once the new client & new website layout comes out this game will blow up.

like FatAsABrick said, the client is not exactly the best in the world, most people are instead waiting for the new client to release
and again, there are some periods of activity, such as if a new game (that is hyped up) gets released, or if a youtuber decides to make a video on us, or sometimes these just occur naturally

ill give you a few tips if you do decide to play any of these games on your own (if you even can, eecks dee)

1. any game made by dysphoria is bad, stay away from them

2. if what you desire are games that are "actual games" i made a list that contained some of these
im not sure if its still relevant however, i havent checked

3. if what you desire is games that arent laggy, then you'll want to look for ones that have as few bricks as possible
check the brick count that appears as soon as you join, or alternatively hold F1 and look in the bottom left corner for an exact FPS count
