Let's say u brought the membership just now, and u finding it's having its automatic renewing at ON status [allows it to renew]. You don't want to pay more without know, and u wanna cancels its renew, and u wonder what canceling does to it, let's see:
Cancelling only sets the automatic renewing to false, making it unrenewable. After the date it has should be renewed, it will end, and the member perks will be lost to until u buy a new membership
Cancelling only affects the renewing system, so u don't have to worry about ur membership perks
