Yes, and after all of that campaigning and heart felt monologue the community gave regarding their relationship to the game, we got a tweet.
And it wasn't even a good tweet, it was basically just a "we hear you." Empty promises and vague statements are Valve's forte, since somebody asked Gabe Newell at an event over a year ago whether or not they have anything planned for TF2, and he just responded with a vague ass "we're working on something." Valve's blatant lack of communication has been a problem since the company's founding, and if you guys had to do ALL that just to get one measly three sentence tweet, I sure as hell would hate to see what you would have to do in order to get an actual update. I dropped TF2 like a heroine addiction years ago and have hardly looked back since. I have very fond memories, but don't plan on returning anytime soon.

In all honesty, I really hope that there's a radical change within Valve's dev teams so that you guys get an update finally, but I'm not holding my breath. I'd say enjoy the game while it still lasts.

Quote from ChisaiMan , 03:05 PM 27/05/2022The thing is Gabe didn't know he was being recorded so he didn't care to lie to a bunch of kids, it was supposed to be a private QnA.

I know valve is a scummy company like any other but if they really don't do anything after tweeting that and all the attention given to them then that would be a whole new level of not caring about your customers, and I doubt that they're that scummy but we'll see
