Does hosting leak your ip?

I heard on another post that this leaks your ip, is this true? Because i really wanna host a set.

You can grab other's IP's with grabify links. I'm not 100% sure though.

This is true but it's not that scary. Minecraft does the same as well with many other game servers.

people can know where you are from but nit track you down, hack your router (kinda, I am not very educated on this) and also send you stupid advertisements and stuff to any device that Is connected to your router

Hmm, I saw that it just tells some location that could be close but not my "exact" location like i live on the united states, somewhere or i live on new york, of course thats not my location but ill think about it.

I have read your thread, How do i notify staff if something like this happens?
