like perhaps i should try doing something else

check your obs settings and make sure your outputting it at a good quality and sometimes the Mp4 can be big, thats a good thing so the bigger the Mp4 the better

and if you have a editor it could depend on your editor, there is a couple editors that are really bad that are free

hmm it shouldnt be being bad then, open your task mananger and check your cpu, and disk usage

apart from that it might be a outdated problem meaning you need to update it, thats all i can think it might be
