What's going on Brick Hillians?
Hosting your game is great, however sometimes the .brk files you use may not be safe.
A .brk is a file that contains all information for Brick Hill maps, like bricks, lights, environmental details, and more importantly scripts.
The Game development team would like to remind you that scripts are not sand-boxed (Ran in a secure, and safe environment). Scripts are executed directly from the .brk file, so what that means is game creators functions can be used for malicious intent!. Our main concern is your safety. Anyone caught sending malicious .brk files that exploit (Even if they aren't destructive) will be terminated from Brick Hill.
We'd also like to remind you that malicious scripts only run for the person hosting a game. Users who join a game with malicious scripts are not affected, but we want to remind you that testing the brk. file locally can still be dangerous.
If you believe you have been sent a malicious .brk file, please send a report to a staff member or email us at help@brick-hill.com. Please be sure to include the username of the user that sent you the .brk file.
Always remember to check before hosting with .brk files someone gave you.
Thanks for reading,
Stay safe!
